![]() ![]() Mac versions are updated for Mavericks and better iCloud capabilities and the GarageBand has been updated with smart controls and drummer features right from Logic Pro X. For instance, iMovie gets split screen and picture in picture capabilities while GarageBand now will give you full 32-track recording on your iDevice. The iOS versions are brought up to date with iOS 7, and with the 64-bit A7s in the iPhone 5S, iPad Mini, and iPad Air, they gain a lot of features you’d find in the Mac. They’ve also been designed to use more of the multi-touch gestures found on both the iOS touchscreen and the multi-touch trackpad on Macs. ILife’s trio of apps are now fully designed for 64-bit on both operating systems. Today, both suites are given full upgrades for not only the Mac, but for iOS as well to keep both OSes on feature parity. It’s been even longer for the iWork trilogy of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. It’s been a while since iLife’s iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand have seen updates.
